Job objective:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing & Sales Assistant, with relevant experience, to support our sales and marketing team. The ideal candidate will assist with various marketing and sales activities, including market research, content creation, social media management and administrative tasks, to help achieve our marketing objectives.
Reports to: Marketing & Communications Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordina¬tion of department activities, which can include answering phone calls, sorting mail, and arranging appointments;
- Use marketing analytics techniques to collect important data (social media, web analytics, ratings, etc.) and analyse consumer rating reports/questionnaires;
- Update spreadsheets, databases, and inventories with statistical, financial, and non-financial information;
- Assists in preparing and deliver promotional presentations;
- Assists with the production and development of marketing collateral, writing mar-keting literature (brochures, press releases, etc.) to increase the company’s presence in the market;
- Assist in creating and updating content on multiple platforms, including website, social media accounts, blogs, and emails;
- Assists with the organisation and coordination of marketing and promotional events, such as conferences, exhibitions, and trade shows;
- Coordinate the production of marketing materials with suppliers, agency, print and distribution;
- Order marketing materials and prepares requisitions and report any inventory or service issues;
- Oversees the upkeep of the Marketing digital archive, including photo and video li-brary;
- Assist in creating marketing campaigns that support sales needs;
- Conduct in-depth market research, SWOT analysis and share insights with the mar-keting and sales teams on a regular basis;
- Stay up to date on market trends, and industry best practices;
- Assist with customer visits and sales activities;
- Assist in compiling business reporting on Sales enquiries & Sales KPIs;
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Ability to confidently administer and manage multiple projects with good prioritisation skills working to deadlines;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Effective organisational and time management;
- Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure;
- Strong technical skill, especially in Microsoft Office and Google tools;
- Participates in ongoing quality improvement activities;
- Adheres to organization’s policies, as well as established practices, protocols, and procedures of the position, department, and applicable professional standards;
- Demonstrates excellent customer service through his/her attitude and actions, con-sistent with the standards contained in the Vision, Mission, and Values of the organi-zation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Administration, or related field;
- 1+ years experience in Marketing;
- Sound understanding of marketing principles;
- Must demonstrate the ability to be self-directed;
- Must be flexible, dependable, and demonstrate the ability to adapt to change;
- Understanding of sales principles and customer service practices;
- Digital marketing software, and social media platforms are a plus;
- Familiarity with marketing platforms such as Canva and WordPress is a plus;
- Fluent in Portuguese and English.
