Job Summary:
The General Service Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all general services at the project site of a large construction project.
This role involves ensuring that the site operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
The General Service Manager plays a critical role in monitoring meticulously cost and expenditures , and cost projection and reporting for all activities encompassing site logistics, facilities, and support services such as personnel transportation, accomodation, catering,
Site camp an Logistic infrastructures coordination:
- Develop and implement logistics plans to support construction activities.
- Coordinate the delivery and storage of materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Manage site access and security to ensure the safety and efficiency of operations.
Facilities Management:
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of site facilities, including offices, canteens, and restrooms.
- Ensure that all facilities are clean, functional, and meet the needs of site personnel.
- Coordinate with external service providers for facility maintenance and repairs.
- Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):
- Implement and enforce HSE policies and procedures on the project site.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Organize and participate in safety training and drills.
Support Services:
- Manage site support services such as waste management, catering, and transportation.
- Ensure that support services are delivered efficiently and meet quality standards.
- Address any issues or disruptions in support services promptly.
Team Management:
- Lead and supervise a team of service personnel, including logistics coordinators, facility managers, and support staff.
- Conduct regular team meetings and provide guidance and support to team members.
- Monitor team performance and address any performance issues.
