About the Job
Minas Moatize Limitada is currently seeking a skilled Stockpile and Load-Out Supervisor to join their mining company based in Moatize, Tete. As a Stockpile and Load-Out Supervisor, you will ensure quality control at the stockpiles, stockyard and the plant. To also ensure that the correct product is delivered to the Client.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Safety and Risk Management:
- Prioritize safety above all else.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks related to equipment, personnel and processes.
Operational Leadership:
- Primarily involve day-to-day supervision of stockpile management and overseeing load-out activities, while requiring a solid mining background.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with other departments (geology, engineering, maintenance) to achieve production targets.
Production Optimization:
- Coordinate with shift supervisors and operators to maintain daily production and load-out targets.
Personnel Management:
- Motivate a diverse workforce, including miners, equipment operators.
- Foster a positive work culture that emphasizes teamwork and accountability.
Budget and Cost Control:
- Optimize resource allocation while maintaining cost efficiency.
Environmental Stewardship:
- Minimize the mine’s impact on the surrounding ecosystem.
- Comply with environmental permits and regulations.
Technical Competencies:
- The role will primarily involve the day-to-day supervision of stockpile management and overseeing load-out activities.

Education or Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or a related field (relevant experience may substitute).
- Strong knowledge of mining equipment, processes and safety practices.
Years of Experience:
- Proven experience (5+ years) in mining operations, with at least some time spent in supervisory roles.
Languages:
- Portuguese and English written and spoken fluently.
