Aldelia is recruiting a Administration, General Services & Finance Assistant for Maputo.
Summary:
Our organization is seeking a dynamic and versatile Administration, General Services and Finance Assistant to join our dedicated team. This role is crucial in supporting the Executive Committee and the organization’s team in the office administration, general services, and financial administration. Given the small team size, the assistant will be expected to handle a variety of tasks across these areas.
Responsibilities:
Office Administration:
- Maintain and organize office records, files, and documents.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for team members.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and correspondence.
General Services:
- Oversee office supplies and equipment, ensuring they are well-stocked and maintained.
- Liaise with service providers for office maintenance and other general services.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and efficient working environment for all staff.
Finance Assistance:
- Coordinate the monthly forecast gathering process, ensuring timely and accurate submissions from contributors (Excel spreadsheets).
- Under the supervision of the General Secretary, interface with external finance and accounting support services to ensure accuracy in budget, forecast and cost control reporting.
- Initiate the payments on bank accounts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in administrative and financial roles, preferably in a similar organization.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially with Excel.
