Aldelia is recruiting a Training Coordinator for Maputo.
Responsibilities:
- Planning Training Programmes: Developing and adapting strategic training plans in line with the specific needs of Mozambican SMEs.
- Identification of Training Needs: Carry out impact studies, analyze evaluation questionnaires and use other tools to understand the challenges faced by SMEs and define the skills needed to increase their competitiveness.
- Content Development: Collaborate with internal and external experts to develop and adapt relevant training materials, such as workshop, seminars and other educational resources, adjusted to the Mozambican business context.
- Organization and Coordination: Managing all the logistical aspects of the training courses, including selecting trainers, setting dates and venues, distributing materials and communicating with participants.
- Implementation and Facilitation: Ensuring the effective implementation of the training programmes, promoting interactive and dynamic sessions that encourage the active participation of the beneficiaries.
- Technology Management and Digital Platforms: Implementing and managing digital platforms to make online training available, expanding access to educational content for participants in different regions of the country.
- Evaluation and Monitoring: Regularly evaluating the effectiveness of training programmes, collecting feedback from participants and monitoring the progress of activities in order to continually improve the impact of initiatives.
- Developing Partnerships: Establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships with organizations, academic institutions and companies to expand and enrich the training offer.
- Personalized Support for SMEs: Providing strategic advice and support to help SMEs identify challenges, develop action plans and improve their competitiveness.
- Promotion of Best Business Practices: Encouraging the adoption of best business practices by offering guidance on working in the oil and gas industry, registration on the Rovuma LNG Supplier Management Portal, legal compliance, financial management and marketing.
- Supervising the creation and maintenance of performance monitoring and evaluation tools.
- Develop and implement surveys and tools to measure impact and performance.
- Supporting the preparation and analysis of activity reports and impact studies.
- Supervising the collection of basic programme data, ensuring that indicators are always up to date.
- Ensure that the M&E systems are sensitive to gender and youth issues, ensuring the appropriate disaggregation of data.
- Contributing to the implementation of the Supplier Management Portal, including data maintenance and analysis, with the aim of optimizing internal processes and supporting other EDC activities.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Education, Law or related areas.
- At least 5 years’ experience in leading the planning, development and implementation of training programmes.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E).
- Proven experience in planning, implementing and evaluating training programmes for adults, preferably in the business sector.
- Familiarity with the Mozambican business environment and the challenges faced by local SMEs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese and preferably English.
- Ability to manage training projects comprehensively, including planning, organization, coordination and evaluation.
- Experience in analyzing and aggregating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and impact reports.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data management tools.
