Aldelia is recruiting a Head of Commercial for Maputo.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and ensure execution of integrated financial strategies to maximise growth across the Commercial Segment.
- Develop integrated frameworks, guidelines, and optimisation plans to drive profitability and economic value add.
- Design and co-create long-term resource optimisation programmes that enable the availability of capital expenditure cash flow.
- Influence and align strategic intent and delivery to add value for customers and shareholders.
- Manage budget to control expenditure and ensure the efficient use of resources
- Develop and implement business measurement metrics to ensure performance is measured against financial goals agreed for the operational areas and performance against competitors.
- Credit: Manage lending book align to FirstRand portgfolio structures by acquiring and managing client in line with sound credit practices.
- Develops operational efficiency and quality standards in line with the targeted financial performance of the business.
- Identify and develop opportunities to introduce new revenue streams
- Drive market share growth by identifying new markets, customer segments, products and services.
- Ensure full exploitation of revenue lead generation opportunities.
- Create customer service goals across operational units that enshrine Organisational values and enable the business to achieve its customer service vision.
- Create conditions that support the delivery of a positive customer experience and sponsors and lead the implementation of customer service projects.
- Represent customer service value proposition in the business and secure the buy-in of employees and industry.
- Define an integrated and cross-functional service value chain and consider the consequences of future actions on the viability of the business
- Ensure compliance is adopted in terms of systems and procedures as laid out by Group.
- Anticipate and apply and policies/procedures to manage and control both financial and non-financial risks.
- Ensure compliance with audit requirements.
- Maintain a broad knowledge of current and emerging conditions affecting industry and/or business through forecasting and analysis across FirstRand
- Ensure that sales strategies are aligned across customer value proposition
- Keep abreast of learning opportunities, changing products and trends
- Ensure that all employees develop, implement and regularly review a personal development plan.
- Create an environment conducive to cross-functional skills transfer with a focus on constant team and personal development.

Requirements:
- 5 to 15 years of experience in Banking/Financial Sector, of which 4 to 6 years ideally at management level.
- Relevant business degree preferably Post Graduate qualification with extensive banking experience.
