A Aldelia está a recrutar um (1) Procurement Manager para Maputo.

Responsibilities:

Ensuring the implementation of business strategies for Strategic Supplies in Mozambique.
Monitoring risks of shortages and working with the supplier base to resolve them
Ensuring that the needs of operations in Mozambique are monitored and met, mobilising the structure to meet them.
Develop and manage improvement projects leveraging the supplier base and the relationship with LOBs.
Managing inbound and outbound logistics.
Warehouse management and materials planning.
Communicating and aligning the category strategy to all company relevant stakeholders.
Support and participation in the process of defining the supply strategy.
Equalisation of proposals and final negotiation with suppliers.
Formalising the contract and releasing the contract for use.
Providing the necessary inputs for the Superintendent to plan and execute the Sourcing process.
Participation in the validation stages of the Sourcing process to ensure that the needs of the company are met
Communicating the release of a new contract to key users and clarifying doubts on issues relevant to the business line
Monitoring the commercial execution of the contract to ensure that suppliers comply with the agreed terms (e.g. discounts, delivery lead times, etc.).
Taking the lead with suppliers to resolve performance problems (e.g. late deliveries, quality, etc.)
Registering new items in the contract and maintaining them in the system
Closing the contract after it has ended (formally and in Pronto).
Participating in LOB management forums (e.g. Performance Meetings, Capacity Forum), representing and contributing to the solution of problems affecting Operations.
Establishing and maintaining a motivated, high-performance team.

Qualifications:

A recognizable level of tertiary education in inventory or stock control point management.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management in remote localities in the African business environment in the mining or oil and gas industries.
Strong mechanical and electrical background.
Effective knowledge and demonstrable aptitude in MS Office suite, particularly Outlook and Excel.
Knowledge of end to end procure to pay processing systems in general and Pronto in particular will be highly desirable.
