Aldelia is recruiting a Stock Supervisor for Beira.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement & monitor bulk fuel stock management systems / sub-systems appropriate for the company´s stock operations in compliance to company procedures, clients’ agreements, guidelines & policy as well as local legislation to ensure integrity of stock information.
- Ensure a daily closure of the different Terminal stock accounts comparing the physical stocks in the depot with the accounting stocks taking into account all operation performed including stock movements, stock takings, and meter readings and ensuring availability of documentation and justification for each movement and stock reading registered.
- Scrutinize, analyze and reconcile, stock reports, of the different Terminals, to resolve stock and meter discrepancies such as variations, imbalances, in transits, unclear transactions, that will affect product loss / gain;
- Be the SPA (single point of accountability) with regard to accounting / resolving stock related issues of the company.
- Ensure that source & control documents affecting stock movement are checked & filed as per client & legal requirement.
- Account accurately all product receipt, storage & usage at companies’ terminals through ensuring witnessing the dipping process after product receipt, the stock taking process, analyzing all the stock reports and ensuring the existence of acceptable justifications for all the deviations.
- Keep the procedures for stock management up to date and propose revised procedures or new procedures if required.
- Comply and liaise with all relevant revenue and customs authorities regarding respect of the regulations by the company (as per legislation) for product duties & tax.
- Act as the company systems Key User for the Terminal stock & control systems.
- Report the daily, monthy, quarterly and yearly stock reports to the company Management and to the Clients of the company.
- Ensure the daily KPI reports of the stock management performance.
- Liaise with the Clients for the information on the scheduling of the replenishments and uplifts to/from the company Terminals. Develop and keep up to date the Indicative Ullage Schedule of the company depots and share the schedule of the allocated capacities and allocated Ullages with the Clients.
- Ensure correct allocation of losses and gains between the clients. Ensure correct management and control of the unpumpable products between the clients.
- Manage the implementation of exchanges and agreements between the clients for Mutualization of Capacities and changes in Allocation of Capacities at the company Terminals.
- Manage the correct configurations of the stock accounts of the Users, Affiliates, Traders, Hostees, Third parties and uplifters according to the Operations Agreement and as per their storage and throughput contracts.
- Ensure that adequate security systems are in place in the Terminals & are adhered to control bulk fuel entering & leaving the terminals.
- Manage the evaluation of product loss/gain during receipt, storage & dispatch of bulk fuel with the object of keeping receipt and Operational loss/gain to within tolerance & reporting it as part of stock key performance indicator (KPI)
- Manages the stocks team, at the different terminals by setting performance contracts, conducting periodic reviews and implementing measures to optimize stock accounting performance
- Builds a culture of operational excellence within the team by providing leadership, motivation, coaching and mentoring.
- Creates an enabling environment that promotes and recognizes individual and team efforts and develops the skills and capabilities of the team.

Qualifications:
- 12 Matrix, Accounting / Auditing is an advantage.
- 2 to 3 years in stock control experience is an advantage.
- Logistics operations experience is an advantage.
- Good with computer applications, Excel.
- Analytical analysis capacity.
- English Proficiency.
